Public sexual immorality against the tide of the age

Handle with care. Do not name AIDS or any specific disease as "predicted by Muhammad". The text says new diseases; naming one is an overreach that will be challenged.

The claim being examined

The Prophet said the Hour would not come until people fornicate in the road as donkeys do — a prediction of normalised public sexual immorality.

The Islamic position

It runs against the entire moral trend of his era and the centuries after it, which is what makes it more than a shrewd guess.

Analysis

Take the predictability test seriously here. A seventh-century observer watching Abrahamic monotheism spread would have forecast increasing, not decreasing, public modesty — and for thirteen centuries he would have been right. The prediction is paradoxical precisely because it is paired with the prediction of Islam's spread. On the disease narration, be careful: the text speaks of new diseases following widespread public immorality; it does not name any specific illness.
