Grandeur With Sweetness
Handle with care. Memorisation on its own does not prove divine origin — long texts have been memorised in other traditions. Use it as an illustration of ease, not as a separate proof.

The claim being examined
Elevated Arabic tended to be either majestic and severe or light and sweet. Holding both registers at once was regarded as the hardest thing in the language.
The Islamic position
The Qur'an combines jazalah (grandeur, weight) with 'udhubah (sweetness, ease on the tongue) in the same passages.
Analysis
This point is easier to convey than most because it has a visible consequence: the Qur'an is simultaneously a liturgical text memorised by non-specialists and a technical object of study for philologists. In most literary traditions those are different registers with different texts. Al-Khattabi frames the combination as a structural achievement rather than a coincidence, because the features that produce weight (dense construction, uncommon precision) usually work against the features that produce ease (rhythm, familiarity, short spans). He observes the same convergence across content types: legal material, narrative, eschatology and supplication all sit in one register without the text fracturing into separate styles.

وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍۢ
And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?
Qur'an 39:23
كِتَٰبًۭا مُّتَشَٰبِهًۭا مَّثَانِىَ تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْهُ جُلُودُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ
A Book, consistent in itself, repeating — the skins of those who fear their Lord shiver from it.
