R — Why a Creator would send guidance

Handle with care. Avoid saying earlier scriptures were entirely fabricated. Say the originals were not preserved as sent — that is the Islamic claim and it is defensible.

In short

• 1.**He provided for every physical need** — oxygen, water, food. Why not the spiritual one?
• 2.**Nobody knows a product like its maker.** A phone comes with a manual written by the people who built it.
• 3.**Purpose cannot be self-discovered.** You cannot deduce what you were made for from the inside.
• 4.**So revelation is expected,** not an imposition — and the Qur'an is the final one.

The claim being examined

A Creator who supplies air, water and food but says nothing about the purpose of the life He gave would be a strange kind of Creator.

The Islamic position

God provides for the body and for the soul. Revelation is the manual: from the One who made the thing to the thing itself.

Analysis

This step is often skipped, and skipping it is why the Qur'an argument then falls flat. Establishing the need for revelation converts the Qur'an from an unwelcome claim into the answer to a question the listener has already asked. It also quietly rules out deism: a Creator with wisdom and mercy who leaves His creation with no guidance is inconsistent with the attributes just established in G and O.
