Sabr - patient endurance with trust in God - is a central Islamic virtue and the same prophet is the example in both traditions.
Analysis
Job/Ayyub is one of the clearest shared prophetic figures, and both traditions read his story as a lesson in endurance rather than in explanation of suffering.
