Signs of the Hour: what Islam actually teaches
Handle with care. Avoid Dajjal, Gog and Magog and conspiracy-flavoured material on the street. It is the fastest way to lose a serious listener.

The claim being examined
Christians often hear Islamic end-times material through the lens of their own apocalyptic culture, or through sensationalist videos.
The Islamic position
Islam divides the signs into minor and major, sets no date, and explicitly makes the timing unknown even to the Prophet.
Analysis
The absence of a date is itself methodologically interesting: it is the one design choice that makes the tradition immune to the Watchtower failure mode, and it was made by someone who otherwise took the risk of being specific about empires and kings. In dialogue, use this card to lower the temperature. Most street encounters about the end times go badly because both sides arrive with lurid material. The Islamic teaching is comparatively restrained, and saying so honestly is more persuasive than matching their intensity.
